There are many different flowers that are edible. It just may be that you have edible flowers in your yard or garden. Pansies for example are edible as are roses and snap dragons. Just like any wild edible it is important that you don't just go around eating every flower you see as many are toxic or poisonous. I will attempt to give a good list of many that you can eat safely based on those I have tried. I will also link to other resources for you.

Keep in mind that you may have edible or medicinal flowers on a plant that also offers edible or medicinal roots, leaves or fruits.

Here is a list of some of the edible flowers you will find in the wild:
  • Yucca
  • Dandelion
  • Indian Paintbrush
  • Yellow Sweet Clover (never eat dry or moldy)
  • Dune Evening Primrose
  • Rose
  • Tulip
  • Sego Lily
