Desert

When I first started learning about wild edible plants back in 2010, I was astounded at the number of plants that were growing in the desert that were edible! This is part of what got me hooked on this area of interest. It is still a great thrill to wander the desert and see so many edible plants growing. There are a lot more edible desert plants in Utah than you might think. It is certainly not a grocery store but there is a lot of value out there to learn about.
