I didn’t know a lot at the time and once I was able to start identifying things, I got excited and set up WildUtahEdibles.com to share what I was learning. That began my journey into foraging and teaching how to identify the many edible and useful plants that abound in Utah. I was hooked and have continued to search out and learn all I can about the plants that are growing all around us. I’ve come to the conclusion that every plant has a purpose and we just need to learn it or “re-learn” it. I believe at one point mankind knew the value of these plants but in today’s world, we have forgotten much of this knowledge. I hope I can share a bit of information to help you learn about these wonderful plants.
